Hanna-Barbera Cartoons
The creators of the late-1960's children's TV series "The Banana Splits", William Hanna and Joseph Barbera (a.k.a. Hanna-Barbera), are most famous for having written and directed the original "Tom and Jerry" cartoons during the 1940's and 50's, and then through the 1960's and 70's for having created "The Flintstones", "Top Cat", "Wacky Races" (and its spin-offs), "Scooby Doo" and "Hong Kong Phooey", to name just a few. I used to love them all when I was much younger, and I still do for that matter! Below is a collection of images from the above-mentioned cartoon series (including 4 animated GIFs), plus 10 music MP3s, a movie clip and a puzzle game. This page may take a while to load due to the large number of files it contains, but hopefully you will find it worth waiting for... (Point your mouse at the images to see their descriptions plus some more detailed information) Here are some of the Hanna-Barbera cartoon characters, together with caricatures of William Hanna and Joseph Barbera.
